![]() The wraith cooler works but it is not great at keeping the Ryzen 6 very cool - which is in turn causing the case fans to run at higher RPMs. Does that mean that the cpu cooler fan will ramp up/down to match the 500-1000 rpm based on the temp when it is between 20 and 40 C? I want to get the fan curves stabilized and working before I decide if I need to get better fans. So if I have 20 C for say 500 RPM and another at 40C for 1000 rpm. Then add in that a lot of people new to AM4 jumped in with a new purchased board that didn't have supporting BIOS for 3000 chips, and they had to update it in an unfamiliar way (Flashback). As a world leading gaming brand, MSI is the most trusted name in gaming and eSports. The 3 other fans are not PWN so I have to control them via temp versus volt. Most of the problems are typical problems caused by the new platform and Tomahawk is probably the most popular B450 board so it got a lot of attention. Youll not be able to control those fan with MSI software, but what you can do is to get a cooler master ARGB controllermobo: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX RAM. The CPU cooler is a PWM so I can do temp versus RPM. I am using the MSI b450 Tomahawk Max motherboard and I have looked at the fan controls there but they really aren't making sense to me.Īre there any good videos describing fan curve setups? I have watched one but they really didn't explain the relationship to temp versus fan speed. THey are ramping up/down alot even under not very heavy loads. You can either set them to a fixed value or use smart fan control via either DC or PWM method. ![]() I have a lot of noise from the fans in my case. FULLY CONTROLLABLE IN BIOS AND SOFTWARE MSI motherboards let you manage speeds and temperatures for all your system and CPU fans. 17 2 To control your fan speeds you need to go into Hardware Monitor in the Bios and set the speeds there.
